Welcome to Julia's Herbal Gifts
The love of herbs all of my life led me to become a certified herbalist and soap maker. From learning to grow herbs, dry them and use them for medicinal purposes, I now have my own herb garden (including a greenhouse), drying racks, a soap business and my very own milking dairy goat herd.
I have been making soap for 16 years with help from my family and we take pride in the products that we make. Every batch of goat milk soap, herbal soap, goat milk lotion, herbal product or bath product is made one at a time in our kitchen. We hand mix, stir, cut and package every bar of soap. We even milk our own goats twice a day and use the whole milk, cream and all, in every batch of goat milk soap. By using all natural ingredients and NOT using harsh chemical additives or preservatives, our goat milk soaps will moisturize and nourish your skin and help restore your skin’s natural balance. You will definitely notice the difference between using our soaps and store bought soaps that leave you dry and flaky.
When I first learned to make old-fashioned lye soap, I never knew what real soap was really like. I then learned to make herbal soaps so that they would improve and moisturize the skin without the harsh drying effect. I eventually found that milk soaps where the best soaps I have ever used. They were so silky, moisturizing and conditioning for the skin that I bought my own goat and began to have my own wholesome supply of fresh milk for the soap. Now my family, friends and regular customers have come to realize the same experience with milk soap on their skin.
I continue to strive to provide the best quality soap and products that are completely natural. You will find scented soaps for your aroma pleasure and unscented soaps for you who are chemically sensitive to smells. All skin types, including sensitive and babies, can use my soaps without chemical reactions.
